JAMMU, Aug 29: One person was killed and 20 others were injured when a bus carrying pilgrims to Mani-Mahesh in district Chamba of Himachal Pradesh from Assar area of district Doda overturned near Dhraul, a remote tribal area of the district, this evening.
The condition of six of the injured is stated to be critical and they have been rushed to regional hospital in Chamba while others are being treated at Bharmour hospital.
The pilgrims were returning after paying obeisance at Kugti temple in the tribal area, when the vehicle overturned and rolled down between Bharmour and Kugti in remote tribal area of Chamba.
Gyan Singh, son of Churu Singh, a resident of Bulandpur, Assar, district Doda in J&K , was killed on the spot, while the names of the injured was yet to be ascertained.
