JAMMU, Aug 30: A man was murdered in Bari Brahmana area of district Samba.
As per police sources, a man identified as Sohan Lal, son of Methu Ram, a resident of Khada Madan, Birpur was found murdered in Balol nallah in Bari-Brahmana. The body of the deceased was having injury marks on head, upper neck and abdomen.
On getting information, police team from Bari Brahmana Police Station rushed to the spot and shifted the body to Ramgarh hospital, where after conducting autopsy, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
A case under FIR number 103/14 under Section 302 RPC has been registered at Police Station Bari Brahmana and investigation started.
SDPO Bari Brahmana Shehzad Salaraia when contacted said that three persons have been picked up for questioning in this case. He asserted that the accused will be behind the bars soon.
