Scouting Pravesh Camp begins at MV International

JAMMU, Aug 30: Two days Pravesh Camp for Scouts and Guides started today at MV International School, here.
I D Soni, a well known educationist and State Commissioner J&K Bharat Scouts and Guides motivated the students on the essence of scouting in his inaugural address.
He reiterated that by joining this movement the students will be able to develop emotionally, socially, mentally, physically and spiritually.
He briefed the students that true education is the learning that one gains from the spirit of service, self discipline and sacrifice in addition to the formal education.
S Sehaj Singh, State Training Commissioner gave detail of the events and motivated the students for active participation in Scouting.
Zonal Commissioner Scouting and Guides laid stress on discipline and its importance in the life of every individual, while K L Sharma, Headquarter Commissioner, Kanchan Sharma, Guide Trainer and S S Slathia, Trained Scout Master carried out the Pravesh Training for induction of 32 Scouts, 32 Guides along with two teachers in the first batch from MV International School.
Earlier, School Principal, K L Dogra presented welcome address, while Gourav Abrol was also present.
