BISHNAH, Sept 2: A series of meetings of people of villages of Bishnah Constituency was held at Marhol and Pasgal wherein Gulchain Singh Charak former Minister was the chief guest.
The meetings were attended by large number of people hailing from the respective villages, the office bearers of Block Congress Committee and other prominent leaders, Chowkidar, Numberdars, Panchs and Sarpanchs.
Mr. Charak was given a rousing reception by the people of the area. All the speakers highlighted problems being faced by the people regarding irrigation facilities, electricity and agriculture and requested Mr Charak for the early redressal.
While speaking on the occasion, Charak urged upon the Govt. to direct all the concerned departments to take immediate & necessary steps to mitigate the problems being faced by the people of the area. He also assured the public that he will take up all the issues with the concerned departments at the earliest. He further said that the Bishnah constituency is neglected for the last so many years.
Prominent those who spoke on the occasion were Gambhir Dev Singh, Dr. O. P. Saini, Madan Bhagat, Mehar Singh, Dr. Raghubir Sarpanch, Haqikat Singh and Capt. Janak Raj.
