Banyan International announces results of Tirangaa

JAMMU, Sept 2: Hosts Banyan International School finished first in two of the eight competitions organized as part of their annual celebration of Independence – Tirangaa.
KC Public School took first place in three of the events to win the most laurels on the day, while Heritage School took the most positions in the top 3.
Over 340 students from 13 schools participated in the event.
The School Principal, Shounak Lahiri, speaking on the cultural fest which celebrated the Monuments of India, mentioned that the amount of talent that is unearthed at events like this is staggering and that the School plans to make this into a tradition with the goal of creating a memorable and educational experience for all participants every year.
In Colour the Monuments (Prep I to Class I), Farah Iqbal of Stephens International School, Aadhrika Dhanotia of Banyan International School and Aditya Shiva Attar of Buds Playway bagged first, second and third position respectively, while in Jigsaw Puzzle (Prep I to Class II), Armaan Sharma of Heritage School, Ojasvi of Buds Playway and Aditya Singh of Jodhamal Public School won first three positions respectively.
In Crossword Puzzle (Class III to Class V), Utkarsh Gupta and Ashutosh Gupta of Banyan International School, Shishir Maharana and Sudanshu Sharma of Heritage School and Arnav Raina and Ojaswi of Heritage School claimed first three positions, while in Poster Making (Class III to Class V), Japun Singh and Nivjot Kour of Banyan International School, Ishita and Rishabh of Delhi Public School and Sushant Chakharia and Sakshamdeep Singh of Jammu Sanskriti School won first, second and third position respectively.
In Street Play (Class VI to Class VIII), KC Public School and G D Goenka School claimed first and second position respectively.
