JAMMU, Sept 3: State Cabinet is going to order promotion of six IFS officers and posting of Chief Engineer PMGSY Kashmir as Development Commissioner (Works) besides making selection of new Chairman of Board of Professional Entrance Examination.
According to the sources, the IFS officers, who are being promoted to the level of Above Super Time Scale-II (APCCF) and Super Time Scale-II (CCF) are B Sidharatha, R S Jasrotia, A K Gupta, M M Gupta, R K Tiwari and S K Sinha.
As far as new Chairman of the Board of Professional Entrance Examination is concerned, the Cabinet will make selection from the panel of three persons—G H Tantray, former Secretary Law Department, Prof Irshad Ahmed, Head of Botany Department of Kashmir University and Prof Rajni Kant, Prof and Head Department of Physics and Electronics Department and Rector Ramnagar Campus of Jammu University.
Sources said that Cabinet would give nod to the placement of Bimal Tikoo, Chief Engineer PMGSY Kashmir as Development Commissioner (Works).
The promotion of Tashi Regzin, Joint Director Prosecution as Director Prosecution will also receive the Cabinet nod.
