UDHAMPUR, Sept 4: Computer Point District Udhampur Open Chess Championship 2014, organized by District Udhampur Chess Association, under the aegis of all J&K State Chess Association and Coordinated by Champion Sports and Cultural Academy and Sky High India Social Organisation concluded, here today.
Parul Kumar Angurana, student of Govt Higher Secondary School Jaganoo was declared winner in Under-17 age category after fighting tough matches he also clinched champion title in Men’s Open Category of the Championship.
In Under-15 age category, Harsh Mahajan, student of Braham Rishi Bawara High School was declared winner in Men’s category, while in Under-19 category, Adishwar Verma won the title trophy.
Akshat Dogra, 7 year old student of Kendriya Vidhalaya No-1 Udhampur was declared winner in Under-9  category.
The tournament was sponsored by Computer Point Technologies and jointly coordinated by Champion Sports and Cultural Academy and Sky High India Social Organiz-ation.
