JAMMU, Sept 6: Divisional Commissioner Jammu Shantmanu launched website of J&K Sports Speedball Association here today.
While speaking, Shantmanu said that he will try to chalk out a way for promoting the game in the far flung areas of J&K by arranging regular camps and tournaments to enlighten people about this.
Later, a meeting of board members and office bearers of the association was also held and arrangements were finalized for the upcoming tournaments.
On the occasion, some new members namely VK Choudhary, Ashu Peter Mattoo, Gita Thakur, Jyoti Ved, Vivek Mehta and Munish Joshi joined the association.
In the end, SP Langer presented a vote of thanks.
Among others present were Anil Nanda, Sanjeev Gupta, Vijay Kumar Sharma, SK Sharma, Nitish Mahajan, Sunny Nanda, Manika Sharma, Palki Anand, Jaspreet Kour, Jyoti Gupta, Komal Raina, Davinder Kour, RM Tikku, Asha Arora, Pawan Kumar and Sahil Janjua.
