JAMMU, Sept 8: L&T Infotech, a Global Information Technology Services company visited Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University (SMVDU) from September 3 to September 6, 2014 for Campus Recruitment of students who are passing out in May 2015.
A pool of about 180 students from across the State of Jammu and Kashmir appeared in this Joint Campus drive.
Students from Jammu University, MIET Jammu, BGSBU Rajouri and Government College of Engineering (GCET) Jammu participated in this Campus exercise conducted by L&T Infotech recruitment team from Mumbai.
All participating students passed through rigorous recruitment stages including an Online Test, Group Discussion, Paragraph Writing, Technical and HR rounds of Interviews. Finally 21 students out of which 12 are from Shri Mata Vaishno Devi University; 12 are from GCET, 2 are from MIET and 6 Jammu University have been declared selected by the L&T Infotech.
Joji George-Manager Campus Recruitment from L&T Infotech called upon the Vice Chancellor, SMVDU Prof Sudhir K Jain and briefed about L&T Infotech Campus recruitment plan.
Prof Jain congratulated final selects from all the participating institutions and wished them successful career in L&T Infotech.
