JAMMU, Sept 8: Air Force School Jammu accorded warm and heartfelt farewell to Air Commodore P E Patange, Air Officer Commanding, Air Force Station Jammu.
Vikesh Sandhal, Principal, Air Force School highlighted the mammoth tasks undertaken during tenure of the Chairman School Management Committee.
The construction of Akash Auditorium, procurement of the school bus, approval of new school building, play station in Nursery Wing were some of the infrastructural developments undertaken during his tenure. The school also had the distinction of being the Best Air Force school of the Indian Air Force in the year 2012. His contribution to the recruitment and management of human resource was also highlighted.
The contribution of Mamta Patange towards school activities and celebrations was highly acknowledged and appreciated. In his farewell speech, Air Commodore assured his support to the established success and legacy of Air Force School Jammu and hoped that the school retains the number one slots in the Air Force Schools of WAC.
A befitting farewell party was arranged in the Air warriors’ mess. The occasion was also graced by the members of the Education section and officers of the Air Force.
