JAMMU, Sept 8: Expressing serious concern over the failure of civil administration in extending relief and restoration measures to the flood victims, People’s Democratic Party (PDP) has urged the Government to use emergency services to help the affected people in swamped areas of Jammu.
PDP vice-president, Trilok Singh Bajwa, who after visiting rain and flood affected areas of Suchetgarh Assembly constituency held a meeting of senior leaders of party at PDP office, demanded dewatering pumps and relief material for the inundated residential areas without any further delay. Expressing grief over the loss of precious lives, senior PDP leader, Ved Mahajan said that Government must use all available emergency services to effected people.
