Colleges to remain close, JU further suspends class work

JAMMU, Sept 9: The State Government has ordered closure of all the colleges in Jammu division for two more days while the Jammu University has also announced suspension of class work till September 12.
According to an official communiqué, due to the damages caused to road connectivity, power and water supply following inclement weather and heavy rains in Jammu division, all the colleges, both Government and private, shall remain closed on September 10 and 11.
The Jammu University, which has already postponed all the examinations till September 13, today announced that class work in the university will remain suspended till September 12.
