KATHUA, Sept 10: The residents of Himarpur, Shun Arorian held a protest demonstration against irregular power supply in the area and blocked the National Highway.
The protesters raised slogans against PDD authorities and also added that water supply has also been hampered due power failure putting the people into lot of trouble. On getting the information, SDM Hiranagar, Sohan Lal along with police party rushed to spot to pacify the agitators and assured them to bring fresh transformer from Jammu.
It may be recalled that transformer workshop was damaged in fire last week.
