Hindi Pakhwada gets underway at POWERGRID

JAMMU, Sept 12: S D Joshi, General Manager (Leh Projects), NRTS-II inaugurated Hindi Pakhwada at Regional Headquarter Jammu today.
The programme began with lighting of the traditional lamp.
Paramjit Singh, AGM (Vigilance), Tarun Bajaj, DGM (ES), R N Sen, DGM (C&M/ PESM), R Narayan, Chief Manager (HR), other senior officials and employees were present.
In his brief speech, S D Joshi, General Manager (Leh Projects), NRTS-II highlighted the efforts of POWERGRID in usage of Hindi and appreciated its employees for earning recognition from various official agencies for exemplary work in usage of Hindi.
He said that the computer facilities in Hindi at all sites right from Wagoora in Kashmir to Bahadurgarh in Haryana have been provided, adding that the progress made in use of Hindi in different departments has shown positive results and now employees are keen to correspond in Hindi.
He called upon the officials to organize Hindi workshops from time to time and motivate the employees to work in National Language.
Other senior officials also spoke on the importance of Hindi in day to day work. On this occasion yearly Hindi magazine “Tawi Pravah” was also released by senior officers. The Hindi Pakhwada is being organized in all site offices of Region comprising States of J&K, HP, Punjab, Haryana and UT Chandigarh.
A number of programmes such as essay competition, poetry recitation, debates in Hindi are being organised during the fortnight amongst the employees & their family members.
