UDHAMPUR, Sept 12: On the direction of the J&K State Legal Services Authority and District Legal Services Authority, Tehsil Legal Services Committee Majalta has constituted a core group to ensure effective implementation of relief and rehabilitation measures for recent flood hit victims.
The core group constituited under the chairmanship of Sudesh Sharma, Chairman, Tehsil Legal Services Committee Majalta along with Bar member Advocate Amit Sharma, Para Legal Volunteers and Subash Sharma, Chairman Pune Panchayat visited flood hit area of village Katheel of Punee Panchayat in Majalta tehsil and interacted with the flood victims.
TLSA Chairman assured full support to the victims and also talked with concerned authorties to redress their problems by providing immediate relief to them.
The newly constituted core group will organize legal care and support system in the affected areas besides assisting rehabilitation, care and future education of orphans, rehabilitation of old and disabled who lost supporting families, assessment of problems relating to insurance policies and arrangement of bank loans for restarting the lost business.
