CJ comes to aid of flood-victims

JAMMU, Sept 13: Chief Justice of State High Court, Justice M M Kumar has come forward to the help of flood-affected people of the Kashmir valley.
On the personal initiative of Justice Kumar, who himself is witness to massive destruction caused by the flood fury in Srinagar, two trucks loaded with ready to eat food items came from Moga and Chandigarh in Punjab, the home State of the Chief Justice.
The food-items were handed over to the concerned authorities of the State Government at Jammu and subsequently airlifted to Srinagar for providing some sort of succor to the flood affected people.
His gesture has been widely appreciated in the legal circles of Jammu and Kashmir.
