JAMMU, Sept 13: A new multi-purpose hall for special children was inaugurated today at Asha School, Jammu Cantonment.
Anita Singh, Regional President of Army Wives Welfare Association of Western Command dedicated the multi-purpose hall equipped with the latest equipment and teaching aids to the school children.
In a special function, conducted to welcome Anita Singh, children came rolling on skates in a unique way and presented bouquet of paper flowers made by the students.
Speaking on the occasion, Anita Singh said that the special children of Asha Schools had always been the centre of her sincere concern and care.
“Many welfare projects of AWWA Western Command have been Asha Schools centric with a view to provide latest teaching aids and facilities to make the special children self reliant”, she added.
