KCites bring splendor for institution during Inter School Swimming Competition

JAMMU, Sept 13: KCites brought the splendor again for the institution during Inter School Swimming Competition, which was conducted by CBSE at New Delhi recently.
The team comprising of 11 students under the guidance of Coach Rajesh Singh had participated in the competition. The KCIS team was the only team from Jammu and Kashmir which qualified the heats and reached up to quarter final level.
The students who participated in the competition in Under 14 category were Kartikay Sharma-VIII (100mt Free Style and Relay), Chanakya Sethi-VIII (200 m Free Style and Relay), Vanshaj Sharma-V (Relay), Divyan Sharma-V (50m and 100 m Relay), Aryan Koul-VII (Relay team and 50 mts), Satyam Gupta-VII (50m back stroke Relay), Anikait Hashiya-VIII (50 mt Free Style and Relay).
In Under 16, the students who participated are Ashish Sharma-IX (400m, 100m freestyle and Relay), Sumit Bhat-IX (800mt, 200 mt, Freestyle and Relay), Akash Sharma-IX (50m, 100 mt Breast Stroke and Relay) and Biraj Gupta-IX (50 mt Free Style and relay).
Principal Dr Ravi Bhushan while felicitating students and coach told that KCIS always believes in embracing hard work gives much more than just results which are reason enough in itself, freeing your mind and soul as you devote yourself utterly to the task at hand.
