Medical camp organized at Jandrah

JAMMU, Sept 17: A free medical camp was organized today by State Health Department here in village Jandrah on the initiative of the Panchayat head, Jandrah.
During the camp, a medical team headed by BMO Dansal, Dr Sumir Kaul along with Sarpanch Anil Sharma visited both private and Government schools in the village and examined the children. The medical team cautioned the villagers about the water borne diseases and asked them to use boiled water as far as possible and keep the mosquitoes away.
The medical team also distributed packets of ORS and chlorine tablets to the villagers.
Anil Sharma, Sarpanch Panchayat Halqa, Jandrah, appreciated the move of the Chief Medical Officer and Block Medical Officer for conducting the awareness camp and assured fullest cooperation of his Panchayat members.
Others who were accompanying the Block Medical Officer include Dr Gurnam Singh, Dr Balbinder, Mirza Afzal, Health educator and Surinder Singh, Sandeep Singh, Pawan Kumar and Rohit Kumar, all pharmacists.
