DPS Katra organizes Quiz Competition

KATRA, Sept 19: As part of observance of Hindi Fortnight, Delhi Public School, SMVDU Katra in close coordination with Directorate of Field Publicity, Govt of India organized a day long programme.
The main aim and objective of this special interactive programme was to promote the concept and National Language (Hindi) in our routine as well as office work.
On this occasion, a Quiz Context based on awareness and information Pre & Post Independence Era, besides promotion of Hindi language was organized in which Manik Gandotra and Sana Padha won the first position, Supriya and Nikhil Angral bagged second, while Rhytham Sharma and Tarun Solan claimed the third position.
D R Sharma, Chief Administrator presided over the function and appreciated the role of the organizers.
Gurnam Singh, Incharge Field Publicity Officer, Govt. of India, Udhampur also interacted with the students and highlighted the importance of observance of such national days, weeks and fortnights for the benefit of the Nation.
While interacting with the students Mr R K Verma, Principal, DPS, Katra urged upon the students to shoulder their responsibilities in spreading the information and awareness of such important issues.
The programme concluded with the prize distribution ceremony and recitation of national songs.
