Couple among three receive burn injuries

JAMMU, Sept 20: Three persons including a couple received burn injuries under mysterious circumstances at different places.
As per police sources, Jaspreet Kour, wife of Om Parkash, a resident of Sangaldan, District Ramban, received burn injuries due to stove blast at her residence.
Jaspreet allegedly caught in flames after stove burst following which her husband Om Parkash immediately come to her rescue and also received burn injuries.
Both were shifted to nearby hospital and after preliminary treatment they were referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) for specialized treatment. Jaspreet received 60 percent burns while Om Parkash received 15 percent burns in the incident and are responding to the treatment, when reports last came in.
Meanwhile, Nisha Devi (14), daughter Balwant Raj of tehsil Thatri, district Kishtwar received serious burns under mysterious circumstances at her temporary residence in Kishtwar.
She was shifted to GMCH with over 80 per cent burn injuries and was undergoing treatment, when reports last poured in.
Cases under relevant Sections has been registered at concerned police stations and investigation started.
