It is a matter of great relief that the armed forces have successfully concluded in Kashmir the rescue operations named as “Operation Megh Rahat” meaning rescue from clouds / rains and are now busy with “operation Sadbhavna” meaning good will, cooperation and help. The efforts are now concentrated on providing medical assistance and other relief material. To achieve quicker results , the armed forces are to support and cooperate with the civil administration to put normal life back on track in Kashmir valley as fast as possible. The superb humanitarian job under heavy odds done by the army has earned it more respect, affection and honour in the hearts of the countrymen in general and all Kashmiri people in particular.
