JAMMU, Sept 21: On the eve of Vishwakarma Pooja Divas celebrations, Pradesh Vishwakarma Shaba (PVS) organised a function to honour the meritorious students and social workers at its Head Office, today.
110 students were honoured which included Priyanka Kumar for third rank in KAS, Anu Katatia for Gold medal in BAMS, Sonam Chalotra for getting MD, Atul Khokhar for CDS clearance. Ritika Chalotra and Rupali Sabharwal were honoured for MBBS selection, while Neha Chalotra for being topper in Women College, Gandhi Nagar and Nidhi Dalmotra for sixth position in 12th. Isha Verma was felicitated for Gold medal in MA, Hindi, while Bhawna Vishwakarma for 14th position in 10th and Samriti for Grade A1 in 10th.
Arun Bazal was honoured for 4th position in 12th, while Shivani Verma for Gold medal in M.Sc and Subash Chander, Suman Verma, Akshit Verma and Shefali were also honoured.
The certificate of excellence along with mementos were presented to students in other fields also.
Kuldeep Raj Verma, Vice Chairman, OBC Advisary Board was the Chief guest on the occasion and R L Chargotra, vice president Akhil Bhartya Vishwakarma Mahasabha, New Delhi was the guest of honour.
