JAMMU, Sept 21: Jasrotia Welfare Society (JWS) in a meeting with MLA Bharat Bushan here today discussed various demands of the people of Buta Nagar and adjoining areas with him and appealed him to take the other problems of the area with concerned authorities as has been done by him so far.
The meeting was informed that many developmental works in the Buta Nagar areas were completed with the support of MLA and they included replacement of electric wires at Buta Nagar, installation of transformers near Raina Academy, Jatt Colony, at Paloura, Jarnail Singh Chowk, Roop Nagar and Durga Nagar, release of Rs five lakh for developmental works in Manhas Basti, construction of park for Jai Bua Dati, two rooms Ravi Dass Mandir, construction of Buta Nagar Paloura drains and installation of transformer at Paloura Jammu.
The meeting was also addressed by B S Jasrotia president of the Society. He expressed the hope that the MLA will continue to work for the development of the area as well as entire constituency with same zeal and zest.
