JAMMU, Sept 23: A 24 years old woman who yesterday consumed some poisonous substance at her home in Batehra area of city outskirts, died today at Government Medical College and Hospital, here.
The woman identified as Rupali Devi wife of Bodh Raj and resident of Batehra falling in the jurisdiction of Kanachak Police Station, was shifted to GMCH, Jammu, yesterday after she consumed some poisonous substance at her in-laws home in Batehra.
Today about 12 noon she breathed her last. After conducting postmortem, her body was handed over to her legal heirs.
The concerned Police have already taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
