Goenka Public School donates amount to Help Age India

JAMMU, Sept 25: The students of G D Goenka Public School,(GPS) Jammu donated Rs 61,000/- to Help Age India, today.
The Cheque was given by the Director, Sanya Bansal to Sunita Santoshi (Senior Manager). It is an International Organization working for elderly people, nationwide fighting isolation, poverty and neglect.
The contact person, Sunita Santoshi (Senior Manager) apprised the students that Help Age India runs ample programmes that impact millions of lives of needy senior citizens every year. With increasing longevity in India, reaching out to more and more is an urgent need. Every rupee received in donation counts in reaching out to the needy.
The Principal of the school, Dr R P Singh appreciated the role of the students and their parents to espouse the elder cause as it is an essential and continuous activity to serve disadvantaged elderly.
