Daffodils celebrates Grandparents Day

JAMMU, Sept 25: To highlight the importance of Grandparents in our lives, Grandparents Day was celebrated in Daffodils Care Convent Pre School, Jain bazaar, here.
All the grandparents belonging to the School graced the occasion with their presence.
The celebration was started with the chanting of Gayatri Mantra .
The children presented very colourful programme to express their love towards their grandparents.
They danced on different songs related to this day.
Many children recieted poems like Mere Dadu Ache Hain, I Love My Dadi , I am the Princess of My Grandparents and many more.
The main attraction of the show was a small play presented by kids through which they depicted the agony of the grandparents when their grand children or the children don’t care for their feelings or spare time for them.
The Principal, Shikha Puri concluded the day by thanking all the grandparents for their presence and sharing their views.
