DPS Udhampur celebrates Grand Parents’ Day

JAMMU, Sept 27: DPS Udhampur invited all the maternal as well as paternal grandparents of their students from classes Pre-Nursery to Class 2nd to celebrate Grand Parents’ Day.
The event was held at School Auditorium. All grandparents were welcomed with an impressive speech and a beautiful song sung by tiny toddlers. They were also presented beautiful handmade cards.
The little toddlers presented a mesmerizing cultural programme which made all grandparents dance to their tune. The grandparents stole the show when they were asked to participate in game organized for them such as Balloon Dance, Paper Dance, etc.
Chairman of the school, Dr JC Gupta (LMC) was much delighted by looking at the initiative of the teachers and students. He felt proud with the way tiny toddlers presented their programme and blessed them. While addressing, he said that grandparents are the best friend as well as guide for their grandchildren and the bond shared by children and grand parents is ultimate.
Principal of the school, Sanjeev Pradhan, along with the vice-principal, Sucheta Gupta, thanked the grandparents for giving their precious time.
