Cardamom remains weak in futures trade on adequate stocks

NEW DELHI, Sept 30: Declining for the second session, Cardamom futures fell further by 1.23 per cent to Rs 842.50 per kg in futures trading today as speculators indulged in reducing their positions amdist adequate stocks position in spot markets on increased arrivals from producing regions.

At the Multi Commodity Exchange, cardamom for delivery in October fell by Rs 10.50, or 1.23 per cent to Rs 842.50 per kg in business turnover of 227 lots.

Likewise, the spice for delivery in November contracts traded lower by Rs 8.60, or 1.01 per cent to Rs 846 per kg in 68 lots.
