CRPF organizes free medical camp for rain hit people

UDHAMPUR, Sept 30: For the flood and landslide hit villagers of Baryal Panchayat and Sayal Sallan of Udhampur district, the 137 Battalion of Central Reserve of Police Force (CRPF), Udhampur today organized a free medical cum eye camp at Baryal.
Commandant 137 Bn CRPF, Mukesh Kumar along with team of doctors visited the area and established the camp wherein doctors provided free medical treatment and medicines to the people affected due to incessant rain, flood and landslide in the district.
Large number of affected people, especially women along with their children, were examined in the camp. Services of an Eye Specialist were also provided during the camp.
Among others, 2nd in Command, D V Thomas, Deputy Commandant, Anil Shekhawat, Assistant Commandant, Puneet Bhardwaj, Medical Officer, Dr Bhanu Pratap, experts doctors team from district hospital Udhampur headed by Dr Kamal Gupta, nursing staff, Sarpanch Baryal, Ram Paul and large numbers of people of the area were also present on the occasion.
