JAMMU, Oct 2: Dhananjay of Chhattisgarh along with Singh Soram Rahul of Assam and Vikram Ranolia and Anand Rathi, both of Haryana are leading with 4 points each while Khalid Amin of J&K along with other three are following with 3.5 points each after 4 rounds of the ongoing J&K Police FIDE Rating Chess Tournament here at M A Stadium Jammu.
Tournament is being played under FIDE Laws of chess in which total 9 rounds will be played.
Rupees three lakh is the total cash prize money of this all India level event in which 115 players from 15 different states of the country are participating.
International Arbiter Dharminder Kumar is the Chief Arbiter of this Tournament, which has been sponsored by J&K Police.
Earlier, in the morning, Atul Kumar Gupta, president “All J&K Chess Association” along with Baldev Raj (vice president) and Taranvir Singh Gujral (coordinator) inaugurated today’s round in the ongoing Tournament.
