JAMMU, Oct 3: One person was injured in an attack by three persons including a father and his two sons at village Kharan, falling under the jurisdiction of Police Station Khour.
According to the reports, the incident occurred in the premises of a temple during a religious function at Village Kharan near Khour when one of the accused namely Vipin Sharma son of Girdhari Lal and resident of village Kharan had an altercation with the victim, following which he along with his brother Bal Krishan and father Girdhari Lal attacked Gulshan Sharma son of Ramesh Chander resident of Upper Narayana (Khour), with an iron rod.
The profusely bleeding Gulshan was immediately shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where his condition is stated to be stable.
A case in this regard has been registered at Police Station Khour and the police is conducting raids to nab the accused persons who are at large.
