Suspected ISI agent nabbed in UP

KASGANJ, Oct 6: A team of sleuths of the Anti-Terrorist Squad(ATS) of Uttar Pradesh police has rushed here to interrogate a suspected deaf and dumb ISI agent arrested by the GRP here at Kasganj railway station last night.
Police sources here today said that the ATS team from Lucknow has arrived this morning and they have started their interrogation of the suspected Jitendra.   Earlier officials of Intelligence Bureau(IB),local intelligence unit and police have already interrogated the suspected.   Local GRP caught hold of Jitendra, when he was roaming in the railway station.
During search,police found several maps of important buildings and religious places of Ahmadabad ,Kashmir,Kolkata,Ajmeer Sharif along with maps of some important installation of New York,Japan,Span, Brazil and Jordan.
In all the maps,there is a stamp of Department of of architecture of Karachi.
The accused was also carrying an Indian passport, 11 ATM cards,3 pen drives, an Apple ipad, 4 ball bearings and 2 fuse for making bombs,4 SIM cards,diary written in code words and a CD of religious places of the country.
However police did not ruled out the accused as an ISI agent.   Police sources said that as their is some difficulty in interrogating the accused as he is deaf and dumb hence experts from Delhi has been sought so that they can talk to him in sign language.
But in a brief disclosure ,the accused informed the police that all the seized items,have been given to him by a person having long beard in a train.(UNI)
