JAMMU, Oct 8: A decomposed body of a man hailing from UP was recovered today from Chowadi area of Jammu.
According to a police spokesperson, the dead body was recovered from a room constructed in a plot at Chowadi area of Jammu. He said that the body was decomposed and emitting foul smell.
The deceased has been identified as Arjun Yadav (25) son of Ganga Ram and resident of Raipur in UP, he said, adding the body has been shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for postmortem.
He said that the concerned police has taken cognizance of the matter and started investigation.
