JAMMU, Oct 10: Srinagar Wing of the State High Court will start functioning from its original complex at Jehangir Chowk from Monday.
A notification in this regard was issued by the Registrar General of State High Court, Suresh Kumar Sharma today. This decision has also been conveyed to the Supreme Court of India.
All the concerned departments particularly Health and Roads and Buildings have formally conveyed to the High Court that the complex has been fully disinfected and is safe from all aspects for resumption of functioning.
It is pertinent to mention here that within few days of inundation of High Court complex at Jehangir Chowk, Chief Justice M M Kumar got functioning of the High Court resumed from temporary accommodation at Gupkar Road.
He was continuously monitoring the restoration works in the original building and with his personal efforts, High Court is all set to resume its functioning from the original complex.
