JAMMU, Oct 12: Namdhari community extended its helping hand to the displaced people from Indo-Pak border due to unprovoked firing by Pakistan in different camps in Domana and Samba.
Speaking on the occasion Dr. Taran Singh, president Namdhari Sangat Jammu and Kashmir said that Namdharis have always stood first, whether it is freedom struggle or other situation in India. Namdharies are always ready to help the needy despite their micro-minority status as per population is concerned.
The relief was sent by Vishav Namdhari Sangat Sri Bhaini Sahib specially for the border displaced people living in different camps including at Domana, Sri Chichi Devi Devsthan Samba and other camps being run by civil administration and Army.
Suba Sukhdev Singh said that earlier relief material sent by Vishav Namdhari Sangat Sri Bhaini Sahib Punjab including 600 blankets and 7 tons of quality rice have been distributed amoung the camp residents at Saler, Upper Deoli and Deoli and chichi Mata, Samba.
Tehsildar in charge relief camp Govt. Higher Secondary, School Domana received the relief material.
Sant Waryam Singh informed that so far Namdhari Sangat has distributed more than 2000 kgs of rice and one truck load blankets amoung the flood victims and Pak firing victims of Jammu and Kashmir at different locations including Udhampur, Samba and Jammu districts.
