ANANTNAG, Oct 13: The Minister for Hajj, Auqaf and Public Enterprises, Peerzada Mohammad Sayed today said that special attention is being given to promote sports activities in the State while adequate funds have been spent on creation of sports related infrastructure across the State.
The Minister said this in his inaugural address of Cricket Tournament at Kokernag in which 100 teams of Kokernag Constituency are participating.
Meanwhile, he also released Rs 10 lakh out of his CDF for the purchase of new cricket kits for the players and another Rs 10 lakh for repair and renovation of playing fields in Kokernag Constituency damaged due to recent floods.
