JAMMU, Oct 14: Jammu State Morcha (JSM) strongly criticized the statement of leaders of some political parties including those of Congress Party at the time when our forces are strongly retaliating the continuous heavy shelling by Pakistan on the borders.
In a statement issued here, today, president of the Morcha, Prof Virender Gupta said with such statements these leaders are demoralizing the forces and the people who are bravely facing the situation on the borders. Criticizing the statements of Mufti Mohammed Syed and his daughter, Mehbooba Mufti for not uttering a single word against Pakistan and its forces for violation of ceasefire, Prof Gupta asked them to restrain from making such statements.
They asked both India and Pakistan to show magnanimity and restore peace on the borders. They did not talk about the infiltration of terrorist groups inside Indian side and did not show any sympathy with the Army jawans killed by the terrorists or by the Pakistan forces. They only found fault with the policies of the Indian Government led by Prime-Minister Narendra Modi towards Pakistan and asked Mr Modi to follow the footsteps of Atal Behari Vajpayee, but both of them forgot that Vajpayee also followed the tit for tat policy on violation of ceasefire and asked the forces to reply affectively and with full force.
