REASI, Oct 14: “Quality education system is the fountainhead of a productive, constructive and ideal future citizenry of the nation”, said MLA Reasi, Baldev Raj Sharma, while inaugurating the upgradation of Govt Girls Middle School (GGMS), Talwara to High school.
He asked the students of the school to avail the avenue provided by the upgraded school and concentrate on their studies. He added that as local MLA he is always at the service of his constituents and shall not leave any effort for their betterment.
He was apprised of the lack of potable water and power in the area by the local residents to which he said that he will take up the matter with the concerned authorities.
The officers of PHE and PDD present on the occasion assured that they would look into the shortage of drinking water and power in the area.
The officials of Education, Rural Development, members of PRIs and large number of local people were also present on the occasion.
