JAMMU, Oct 14: GDC Bishnah on the fourth day of ongoing National Integration NSS Camp organized a ‘Slogan Writing’ competition on the theme “Peace and Harmony”.
50 volunteers participated in the competition followed by a rally of NSS volunteers holding placards depicting slogans of peace and harmony under the guidance of Dr Suman Charak, NSS Programme Officer.
The rally was flagged off by Prof Kalpana Kesar, principal of the college.
In the “Slogan Writing Competition”, Tania Sharma of BA Part- II secured 1st position, Monika Kaith of BA Part – III and Renu Sharma of BA Part I shared 2nd position whereas Neetu and team of BA Part I bagged 3rd position. Pooja Devi of BA Part-III and Sweety won consolation prizes.
Prof Archana Bakshi, Dr Alka Sharma and Dhiraj Singh adjudged the competition.
