BIS wins laurels in Akhil Bhartiya Rashtrabhasha Pariksha

JAMMU, Oct 14: Banyan International School (BIS) won laurels in the Akhil Bhartiya Rashtrabhasha Pariksha, a nation-wide examination held under the auspices of the Mahatma Gandhi Rashtra Bhasha Hindi Prachar Sanstha, Pune.
The school was conferred with the Best School Award (Aadarsh Pathshala Puraskar), winning in a field that comprised of more than 300 schools across the country.
The Principal, Shounak Lahiri, was felicitated with the Best Principal Award (Aadarsh Pradhanacharya Puraskar) and Pratibha Singh, Head of the Hindi Department, was awarded the ‘Rashtra Bhasha Bhushan Puraskar’.
Fourteen students from the school received Rashtriya Rashtra Bhasha Puraskar medals and certificates for their performance on the examination.  The students thus felicitated were Mansi (Class 8), Riya (Class 9), Arshit (Class 1), Radhika (Class 7), Parth (Class 6), Vidhanshi (Class 3), Nidhi (Class 4), Ravneet (Class 6), Kanika (Class 5), Atharv (Class 2), Ananya (Class 1), Jai (Class 2), Ananya (Class 5) and Tanishq (Class 3).
