POONCH, Oct 15: District Institute of Education and Training, (DIET) Poonch organized district level quiz competition in english in the premises of DIET Poonch, today.
Four teams from different schools of the district participated in the competition. Jagjit Singh vice Principal presided over the programme. The main aim of organizing this competition was to develop linguistic skills among the students.
Vijay Puri HoD and Ghulam Haider senior Lecturer acted as anchors while Vaneet Sharma Lecturer acted as scorer. The quiz material was prepared by I/C CMDE wing DIET Poonch under the supervision of Nagesh Arya HoD.
In this competition the team of GGHSS Poonch secured 1st position, Christ School Poonch bagged 2nd and GHSS Mendhar 3rd position respectively. Prizes were given to the winning teams. The programme concluded with vote of thanks by Romesh Sharma senior Lecturer DIET Poonch.
