Applications on prescribed form are invited from the permanent residents of Jammu and Kashmir for issuance of permit for Wireman with classes as:-
i) “A” Class Qualified to work up to 11 KV.
ii) “B” Class Qualified to work up to 250V .
1. MODE OF SELECTION:-
Selection shall be made on the basis of performance made by the candidates in the Written/Practical/oral test.
2. ELIGIBILlTY:-
The eligibility criteria for applying are detailed as under:-
i) Minimum age shall be 18 years as on 1-10-2014.
ii) Minimum Academic Qualification as 10th class for “A” class wireman permit and 8th class for “B” class wireman permit.
iii) Work experience for a period of not less than one year issued by the electric contractor recognized by PDD.
3. Permit holders for “B” class wireman having an experience of five years and above can also apply for “A” class wireman test.
4. Application form along with syllabus can be obtained from the office of the undersigned against a cash payment of Rs. 50/- from 20-10-2014 to 31-10-2014. The forms should be submitted back duly completed in all respects on or before 15-11-2014.
5. The examination shall be held in the office of the undersigned at 15-B/B Extension, Gandhi Nagar, Jammu.
For “A” and “B” Class Wireman on 24-11-2014 at 11 AM.
6. The candidates shall keep their own tools and material with them for the examination purposes.

2. The hiring is purely on Contractual basis upto 31.03.2015 renewable on year to year basis subject to the performance and continuation of scheme. In case of unsatisfactorily performance, the Appointing Authority shall have the right to terminate hiring without assigning any reason.
3. The Contractual hiring shall not confer any right on the appointment to claim extension of benefits.
4. The consolidated Honorarium per month is inclusive of all allowances.
5. The selected candidates shall have to work in the District/ State against which they are selected and their engagement is non transferable.
