JAMMU, Oct 16: A man died today in a road accident near Satwari Airport falling under the jurisdiction of Satwari Police Station.
According to a police sources, the man identified as Darshan Lal, son of Ker Singh and resident of Jandlaidh, Tehsil RS Pura, died on the spot when his motorbike bearing registration No JK02BB-0914 was hit by a truck from back side.
His body has been shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for post mortem and a case in this regard has been registered at concerned police station, he said, adding the truck bearing registration No JK02G-5679 has been seized and efforts are on to nab the accused driver who is on large.
