BJP Kashmir for simplifying voting procedure for migrants

JAMMU, Oct 16: BJP Kashmiri Displaced in its meeting here today held under the chairmanship of its president T N Bhat expressed dismay over the lengthy procedure regarding inclusions, corrections and procedure of filling M Forms for migrant voters making the poll process for them totally cumbersome.
The meeting in an appeal urged the Government to collect the data of migrant voters from relief organization to make the process easy. It said the Election Commission of India has issued orders for making inclusions in electoral roll and Form 6 in this regard are available in the office of the Party for migrants.
The meeting also criticized the State Government for its failure in enrolling the Kashmiri migrant voters over the years and out of three lakh KP voters their number has been reduced to 80,000 only.
M L Sopori, P N Pandita, Bansi Bhat, D L Koul, Virender Kichroo, Raja Ji Koul, P L Sudeshi, Makhan Lal, D N Kissu, C L Koul, Dr A K Koul, Kaka Ji Bhan, T K Dhar and others attended the meeting.
