SRINAGAR, Oct 16: The Cabinet today accorded sanction to the promotion of B. R. Sharma, Principal Secretary Planning and Development Department to the fixed scale of IAS (Rs. 80,000/-) w.e.f. the date Khurshid Ahmed Ganai, demits office as Financial Commissioner, Industries and Commerce Department.
Consequent upon his promotion to the fixed scale of IAS, Mr. Sharma shall be designated as Financial Commissioner, Planning and Development Department.
