JAMMU, Oct 20: Secretary, Cooperative Department, R K Koul evaluated the performance of the RFD (Result Framework Document) for Jammu division for 2014-15, at Jammu today.
The Secretary reviewed the sectoral achievements pertaining to the RFD for the year 2014-15 up to ending September, 2014 of both the wings viz Audit and Supervision of Jammu division.
The Secretary asked the audit wing Jammu to speed up audit of the societies of Jammu Divison. He further stressed upon the district officers/block officers of the department to conduct maximum number of inspections of the societies falling within their respective jurisdictions so as to achieve the earmarked targets pertaining to the RFD. Further, he also directed to take immediate steps for revival of the PACs/societies in order to strengthen the cooperative movement.
The performance on account of administrative inspections conducted by the Deputy Registrar of their respective districts was also reviewed and district officers were directed to conduct the administrative inspections of the pending blocks/societies immediately. The performance on account of disposal of arbitration cases was also reviewed and it was enjoined upon the officers to dispose off the pending arbitration cases within the prescribed time as per Cooperative Act and Rules.
He also instructed all the participant officers to chalk out a comprehensive programme for making cooperative week commencing from November 14, 2014 a grand success. The Additional Registrar Cooperative Jammu was also instructed to convene a meeting with the various cooperative institutions in this behalf.
Special Secretary Cooperative, Additional Registrar Cooperative Societies Jammu, Joint Registrar (Hq) Jammu, Joint Registrar Special Jammu and all Deputy Registrars and District Audit Officers of Jammu Division and other officials of the cooperative department also attended the meeting.
