RAJOURI, Oct 21: Kendriya Vidyalaya Rajouri celebrated Annual Sports Day with great enthusiasm and grandeur, here today.
A K Tyagi, Principal KV Rajouri welcomed the chief guest.
V T Kayarkar, Commandant 138 BN, BSF and Officiating DIG, SHQ, BSF Rajouri was the chief guest, while S K Mishra 2IC and Officiating Commandant (SHQ), BSF Rajouri was the guest of honour and Madhuri Kayarkar, wife of V T Kayarkar, Commandant 138 BN, BSF & Officiating DIG, SHQ, BSF Rajouri was the special invitee on the occasion.
Speaking on the occasion, the chief guest emphasized the importance of keeping health fit for facing the challenges of future.
The children of K.V. Rajouri put up many colourful cultural items. Master Pranav of Class- XI was declared as School Champion (Boys) and Kumari Babli Devi of Class IX was adjudged as School Champion (Girls).
The function was well attended by parents as well as VMC members who with their presence inspired the children to do their best.
The vote of thanks was proposed by Jitendra Kumar, PGT (Comp Science).
