LOS ANGELES, Oct 22: Rapper Pitbull is set to host the 2014 American Music Awards.
The 33-year-old rapper, who served as a host at last year’s ceremony, will also perform a song from his new album Globalization during the event scheduled for November 23, reported Ace Showbiz.
“World, who would have thought Pitbull hosting the AMAs two years in a row. The harder I work, the luckier I get,” he said in a statement.
“Thank you ABC and Dick Clark Productions for the amazing opportunity – more than anything let’s get ready to have fun,” he added.
According to legendary American Music Awards producer Larry Klein, this year’s edition will also be interesting.
“Pitbull is a global superstar and multi-talented powerhouse, who delivered one of the most exciting shows in American Music Awards history when he hosted in 2013. This year will be no different,” he said.
The 2014 AMAs is airing live on ABC from the Nokia Theatre LA Live. Iggy Azalea is leading AMA nominees with six nods. (PTI)
