JAMMU, Oct 22: Urging the community to avail the efforts of All India Kashmiri Samaj regarding the extension of date for the registration of voters, Moti Kaul, President of the organization said that it is of utmost importance for the Pandit community to be an indispensable part of the coming elections for a visible change.
In a statement issued here today said ‘we are hopeful that there will be a paradigm shift regarding the approach of the State establishment towards the Pandit Community, the worst sufferers in the modern history, after the State elections, but for this they have to come out , register themselves, vote and take active part in restructuring their future’. “Present conditions warrant us to use our right to franchise. It is ‘now or never’ case and if we plug the loopholes ourselves timely it will prove instrumental in realigning the lost rails of our values, ethos, culture, and development” he added.
Kaul said the bigger problem is the future of community youth. The youth should themselves take the responsibility on their shoulders and move ahead for an apparent alteration, he added.
Appreciating the role of KPs and friends at Dubai, for maintaining the human relations, Moti Kaul said that in relief operations phase 11, 380 blankets, 380 sets of items of warm clothing, rations including rice, spices, flour, etc, medicines and flooring, essentially, daris, foam sheets were dispatched to Srinagar for distribution among the stranded members of the community.
The Delhi team will provide gas stoves, rations packs to cater for one month’s requirement of each family and warm clothing to cater for coming winter, he added.
Lauding Prime Minister Modi for his timely visit to the State Kaul said that this is the time for the State Government to bid adieu to the direct confrontation with the Central Government which has been the bad habit of the State rulers since 1947.
